Who are we?
We are a private boutique hunter, jumper & equitation show stable. We aim for a small barn family atmosphere that holds horsemanship, sportsmanship, and healthy competition at the forefront of our program that is customized to fit each individual horse and rider. Our horses come first always and then our riders goals next. We believe that what you learn in the barn and on the back of the horse will set you up for a happy and successful life in and out of the barn. With horsemanship as the foundation of our program, riders learn responsibility, dedication and perseverance that will extend into their life outside the barn. We truly care about your education, your horses health and your dreams.
What?
What do we do?
We guide children, juniors and adults thru the horseshow lifestyle by setting goals. They learn what it takes to find success and will discover a deep appreciation for the sport and the animal. We teach beginners to advanced riders that own or lease their own horse. Don't have your own horse? We can help you find the right partner or help you sell one. We show on the USEF National circuit. We also offer a young horse training program that starts them correctly from the ground up and give them a foundational education that will last thru their showing careers. Our horses health and mindset are important. We pride ourselves on happy, healthy horses who enjoy their jobs.

Sekanic Show Stables resides at Rancho de los Arboles in Crossroads, Texas.
Rancho de los Arboles is a 22-acre sport horse breeding, training and boarding farm located in the horse country of North Texas. The farm has been owned by Ellen Eakin and John Eakin since 2007. The private luxury barn features 15 matted stalls situated on a picturesque property with plenty of turnout and riding space including a sand arena, a derby jump field and sloping riding paths to hack on that are surrounded by plenty of trees including beautiful pecan trees and two ponds with fountains. The property exudes peacefulness for both humans, and horses alike.
